Layzi - if i never go outside

Layzi's compositions stand resilient in spite of their gorgeous fragility - soft, yet intelligent bedroom pop. Her most recent EP, if i never go outside, is a dreamy triptych; its three tracks appear as a deliberate gesture to the inherent strength that lies in vulnerability.

The grunge-inspired guitar of “iingo” is a stunning foundation to her reverb-heavy vocals, while the spacey, sometimes glitchy synth of “bored” offsets the embedded narrative of intense self-awareness. By the stark instrumental swells of “get in control,” it's abundantly clear that these tracks all speak to one another seamlessly.
