Yndling is the dream pop project of Silje Espevik from Norway, started in a bedroom during the pandemic. Taking inspiration from acts such as Beach House, Cocteau Twins, Mazzy Star and Men I Trust, Yndling has a unique sound that combines atmospheric arrangements with whispery, honest lyricism. 

‘Mood Booster’ is the result of my observations and musings as I’ve tried to navigate my own personal relationships, both platonic and romantic ones. I find it weird how we as humans make big things seem small and small things seem big by how we talk about them and how everybody seems to want to change and stay the same all at once. The title track is about feeling too much responsibility for another persons emotional needs, ending up kinda trying to smother someone into feeling fine. Not the greatest idea honestly. - Silje
