Zeeland - Soft Ice

Zeeland is the Dutch producer duo of Tom Meijer and Rutger van Woudenberg. Soft Ice is their second release for Spirit Goth after Vanilla, four tracks of the dreamy electronic bedroom pop the pair have been refining since their 2018 self-titled debut. “Love Sabbatical” brings in Nana Adjoa, the EP’s one outside voice, and “Trail,” “Dagger” and “Converted Cars” hold to the duo’s producer instincts - chillwave texture and lo-fi warmth, built more as atmosphere than as statement.
