semiwestern is the Texas project of Ty Bohrnstedt and Daniel Gonzalez, who first met as junior tennis players and reunited in their twenties. Their self-titled debut is a collection of lush youthful tracks exploring empathy in self-perception and resilience in growing up - alternative rock, shoegaze and bedroom pop, with stoicism and vulnerability operating in tandem.
