Coolhand Jax is the solo pop project of Los Angeles artist Jake Weissman. Proper Fun is his debut full-length - lush melodies, groovy but sturdy basslines, reverb-drenched vocals. An apt title, and a brilliantly ironic one: akin to leaning against a door threatening to burst, it alludes to the vitality that lies within, should you give in and turn the handle.
