To call Shimmertraps a band would be an understatement - their music feels closer to a performance art piece. LOOK!, the Bellingham quartet's sophomore album, was written, recorded, mixed and produced entirely in their living room: disco-inspired, glitchy, multi-dimensional synth pop, radiating equal parts intrigue and whimsy. Conceptually, an album about indulging in pleasant distractions.
