Half Stack are an Oakland five-piece who met as undergrads in Santa Cruz - Peter Kegler, Marley Lix-Jones, Callum Beals, Oliver Pinnell and Digger Barrett. Their self-titled debut is homespun country-rock with a hint of psychedelia: a whiskey-soaked spin on indie rock, with whispers of Tiger Trap, Silver Jews and the Grateful Dead.
