I Am What The Dog Brought In

Following the release of their debut Temporary Empty, Exiter return with an ethereal and expansive new EP. Formed in 2024 by former members of dream pop group Shimmertraps, the Seattle band weave together alternative rock, electronica and slowcore into something that makes even familiar moments feel mysteriously transcendent.

Across three tracks there is an intimate oscillation between light and shadow - jagged to soft to glitchy to silky, often inside the same song. "Draw A Star" is the most unpredictable and the most lush, its teardrop effects and echoed vocals bursting into industrial-tinged noise rock.
